2026 Washington Rush Scout Day - Quick Hits
June 12, 2026
On Wednesday June 10th, Prep Baseball Washington hosted the Washington Rush Scout Day at Edmonds-Woodway High School. Prep Baseball scouts evaluated high school athletes in the 2026-2029 graduating classes, with several strong showings throughout the event.
Summer Scout Day events serve as an important tool for both Prep Baseball scouts and college recruiters, who will subsequently create lists of prospects to follow as they plan their remaining summer coverage. We often tend to see prospects' best showings at Summer events, as players are fresh off playing for their respective high schools and are in the routine that consistently playing in-game offers. Standout performances can lend invites to some of the summer's top events, including the 2026 Pacific Northwest State Games or West Coast Super Sophomore Games.
Today, we begin our series of post-event content with our Quick Hits, spotlighting standout performers from the event. Prospects are listed alphabetically by last name. Stay tuned the remainder of this week for all post-event coverage. For all event info, click here.
Washington Rush Scout Day (6.10.26)
Quick Hits
'27 RHP Declan Crawford (Edmonds-Woodway)
A high-upside uncommitted junior arm, Crawford had a quality bullpen look after a strong showing at the invite-only NPI Tournament last weekend in LakePoint. The 6'2 righthander's velocity was down a bit in this look, but has run his fastball into the upper 80's at his best. The breaking ball remains a major weapon, setting a new personal-best with a 2916 max and 2861 average RPM on the pitch. Crawford works through a steady-paced wind into a whippy arm path and a higher 3/4 slot release, mixing in a CH as his third pitch. Uncommitted arm to know.
'29 OF/RHP Nash Echelbarger (Meadowdale)
The Junior Future Games alum set several new personal best at the Rush Scout Day this week. The medium framed freshman sets in a balanced stance from the left side of the plate, with a minimal weight shift and shorter stride and a fluid, slight uphill path through the zone. Echelbarger drove a peak exit velocity north of 90 MPH and a best batted ball over 300 feet in BP rounds. He also showed developing arm strength with throws up to 81 MPH from the outfield and a fastball up to 80 MPH on the hill. The righty arm flashed a four pitch mix overall with a lower spin arsenal.
'27 INF Cian Harney (Mountlake Terrace)
Harney is a well-built middle infield-type at 5'11, 190 pounds. The BP rounds were as consistent as any on Wednesday, with a peak exit velocity of 93.6 MPH while averaging 86.4 MPH. Harney sets in a wide stance with his weight stacked over his rear side, working through a longer, high stride to replace the front foot before firing the barrel. A 7.1 runner, Harney carried sound, controlled actions defensively with throws up to 81 MPH across the dirt.
'28 OF Langston Key (North Creek)
An ultra-lean framed sophomore, Key showcased athleticism and skill to dream on as he continues to develop. Key ran one of the best 60 times of the event with a 6.90 second effort. He also showcased enough arm strength to stick in an outfield spot with throws up to 81 MPH. The offensive profile looks to be more contact over power to this point, and the speed and defense could make Key a productive prospect moving forward.
'27 C/OF Lance Moua (Meadowdale)
Another versatile athlete seen this week, Moua displayed his game at multiple spots defensively with a well-rounded performance. The compact-framed junior posted a 7.06 run time to kick off his event. The quickness carried over to the catcher position with a best pop time of 2.04 seconds. Moua sets with a vertical bat extended away from his frame from the left side, carrying a controlled, flatter swing through the zone and a more narrow base at impact.
'27 RHP Gunnar Rindal (Mount Vernon)
One of the more exciting uncommitted junior arms in Northern Washington, Rindal built on a strong winter showcase look and spring season with a great bullpen session. A 6'6, 195 pound righthander, Rindal moves through a lower-effort delivery from the stretch, generating extension easily with the longer frame. Rindal stays behind the fastball well, with ride on the 2500+ RPM pitch up to 85 MPH. The extension paired with the high spin allows for added life up in the zone on the FB. Rindal's SL was the best we've seen it as well on Wednesday, sitting 72-74 MPH with over 2440 RPM on average. He also threw a higer spin CH at 75-76 MPH with gradual fading action.
'28 OF Andre Tarasov (Monroe)
A wiry-framed 6'0 athlete, Tarasov moved well defensively and could stick in all three outfield spots moving forward. Tarasov ran the second-best 60 time at the event with a 6.89 second run. He showcased developing arm strength with throws up to 78 MPH from the outfield. The sophomore also drove balls up to 310 feet in BP rounds, peaking with exit velocities into the upper 80's. Young righthander to keep an eye on.
'26 OF Timothy Thomas (Archbishop Murphy)
The soon to be graduated outfielder had a loud showcase performance, leading the event in a couple of major statistical categories. Thomas posted a 6.66 run time, one of the fastest marks we've seen in the early part of the summer. He also led the event with balls hit up to 348 feet and a peak exit velocity of 96.9 MPH. Thomas carries a loose-wristed, flatter swing through contact with a more upright posture at impact. The upperclassman carries an intriguing set of tools as a potential late add for a college program.
