Continuing our coverage of HS baseball with another look at recent Jamboree action.
This time we had the chance to check out 3 squads in action: Edmonds Woodway, West Seattle and Ingraham.
Each team played 2 games for 3 innings each. Allowing for a lot of arms to get action while rotating through a lot of position players.

Edmonds Woodway, Ingraham & West Seattle
+ RHP/1B Jacob Gabler (Edmonds Woodway, 2022, Bellevue College commit) One of the loudest performances we’ve seen on the mound so far in 2022. Gabler came out firing FBs at 89-91 in the late innings of jamboree action and racked up 3 easy strikeouts. Didn’t need to use his SL at all but flashed an above avg offering at 77 with tight shape and late bite. Large framed athlete at 6’5, he pitches with a short, compact arm action and aggressive intent out front at release. Big riser in the 2022 class with considerable upside.
+ RHP Gibby Marshall-Inman (Edmonds Woodway, 2022, Oregon State commit) One of the more projectable arms in the PNW right now. Gibby just finished up basketball season and made a quick transition to the mound with a FB up to 89 and a hard, downer CB at 72-73. As an athlete, moves exceptionally well down the mound and through his core. Long, whippy arm action that is easy to dream on.On a cold night, ‘22 @JacobGabler (Edmonds-Woodway) brought the heat in the last inning

Touched 91 multiple times, 89-90 for strikes and ripped off a sharp SL at 77. Struck out the side. Huge frame w/ short, quick arm. Explosive stuff@Courterfield commit | @ShooterHunt pic.twitter.com/TupGtvXPpR

‘22 RHP Gibby Marshall-Inman (Edmonds-Woodway) has one of the highest ceilings in the class
FB 87-89 tonight w/ CB 72-73 flashing + at its best. Wide, lean frame w/ major projection @BeaverBaseball commit @GibbyMI19 | @ShooterHunt pic.twitter.com/XoZYPEvwCZ
RHP Cleo Tessaro (2023, Ingraham) First look at the tall, high-waisted uncommitted righty. Flashed some intriguing potential with a FB coming from a short, compact arm action at 80-81. Creates some deception/hop with release point coming just above right ear. Also mixed in CB with gradual break at 65-69. Solid 2 pitch mix with control. Uncommitted.
Lots of strikes early on from #uncommitted ‘23 RHP @cleotessaro1 (Ingraham)

FB with sneaky life at 80-81 from a short, quick arm slot. Ball jumps out of hand. Mixing in CB for strikes consistently at 65-69@PBR_Uncommitted pic.twitter.com/A6oPfUIRqt
RHP Alex Hill (2022, Ingraham, Everett CC commit) presents a strong, physical presence for Ingraham both on the mound and in the box. Offensively, uses an aggressive approach and looks to drive the ball. Creates lift with a tall, leveraged stance and uphill swing path. On the mound, comes at hitters with a heavy FB at 82-83 on this look and an 11/5 CB with solid depth
+ OF Matthew Henning (West Seattle, 2024, Washington commit) looks the part of an advanced hitter who should be a fixture at the top of the ‘24 class rankings. Showed a keen eye at the plate on this look with strong, quick wrists that produce effortless pop. Ball jumps off the barrel. Keeps relaxed, hitterish actions in the box & should continue to steadily add more power.
Good piece of 2 strike hitting here from ‘24 Matthew Henning (@_WSHSbaseball_)

Keeps hands back on a breaker and flicks it to deep LF for a 2B. Ball jumped off his barrel in 2 ABs so far @UW_Baseball commit | @matthewhennin pic.twitter.com/6R24Z0Mqyb
+ INF Bobby Trigg (West Seattle, 2024) We’ve had multiple looks at Trigg within the last month or so and he’s been a consistent performer throughout. Strong, lean athlete who can handle multiple INF spots on defense. Handsy type of swing with barrel control and a sound approach. Uncommitted.
More from #uncommitted ‘24 SS Bobby Trigg (@_WSHSbaseball_) as he lines a clean single here to LF as we get underway tonight

+ SS/RHP Caden Fahy (West Seattle, 2024) Coming off of a strong performance at our Preseason ID in Feb. Fahy is a strong bodied 2-way prospect who can do a lot on the diamond. Confident defender with plenty of carry on throws from the left side of the INF. Short, compact swing at the dish with present strength. On the mound, dials it up to 83-84 with life while snapping off a tight CB & also has a usable CH. Uncommitted.
One of several standout ‘24 prospects for @_WSHSbaseball_ @CadenFahy was aggressive on the bump with a FB at 82-83 and 11/5 CB in the low 70s

Confident defender in the INF who handled all of his opportunities. Physical bat on offense for his age pic.twitter.com/T3cB2ohWXp
+ C Jake Lockwood (West Seattle, 2023) performed really well behind the dish on this look, throwing out multiple runners. Quality receiver who has to handle some advanced arms on the HS staff. Features a stocky, compact frame with strong levers. Showed a middle/oppo approach in game & squared the ball up when he had strikes to hit. Uncommitted
