The NCAA early signing period ended yesterday (November 20) at midnight and we take a look at who has signed where and what the recruiting landscape in Wisconsin’s 2014 class looks like.
Wisconsin’s 2014 class is not one of the deepest classes we’ve seen in the state with only 10 Division 1 commitments in the class. To put it in perspective the Class of 2013 had 17 Division 1 commitments and the Class of 2015 already has six.
The Class of 2014 has 19 NCAA early commitments, 10 Division 1, six Division 2 and three Division 3. Of those 19 early commits, 13 have attended at least one PBR event.
Out of the 10 Division 1 commits the Horizon League grabbed the most with four, Alex McIntosh (UW-Milwaukee), Austin Schulfer (UW-Milwaukee), Connor Rolain (UIC) and Luke Van Lanen (Valparaiso). Two committed to the SEC, Jeren Kendall (Vanderbilt) and Zack Henderson (Missouri). Two to the Big Ten, Fred Manke (Minnesota) and Scott Schreiber (Nebraska). One to the Atlantic 10, Luke Sommerfeld (St. Louis University) and one to the WAC, Miles Lewis (North Dakota).
