TAKEAWAYS
INF Brayden Alivo (St. Thomas More, 2026) after finishing up a strong sophomore season for St. Thomas More, Alivo was one of the more impressive prospects in attendance. The right-handed hitter was on the barrel throughout his round of BP consistently driving the ball in the air. The baseball jumps off the bat with ease from a simple and low effort swing, staying tight through contact. In the field Alivo plays with confident and soft hands and showed arm strength across the diamond, up to 86 mph on his hardest bullet to first. Alivo hopped on the mound to finish his day and showed repeatability in his delivery while operating in the low-80s with his fastball that played with carry through the zone. Alivo went to a low-70s curveball that featured 12/6 shape with tight break.
OF Bennett Burke (IMG Academy FL, 2025) turned in one of the better all-around performances on the day. The left/left outfielder started the day off by running the second fastest 60-yard dash time at a 6.86. During BP, Burke put together a loud round, the strong left-hander was producing easy pop off the bat leveraging baseballs out front. Behind the plate, Delgado led the way in both catcher velo and pop times with his firmest bullet coming in at 76 mph and recorded a 2.01 pop time.
INF Tyler Olszewski (Germantown, 2026) is an athletic name-to-know coming out of Tuesday’s event. The projectable 6-foot-1, 170-pound left-handed hitting infielder started off the day running the fastest recorded 60 of the day with a 6.81, and followed it up with the highest measured vertical of the day, jumping 35.5 inches. Standing at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds with room for added muscle, the right-hander worked the middle of the field throughout his round of batting practice. Showing the ability to stay inside the baseball and extend past contact, Helms was able to consistently find the barrel and hit line drives. Defensively in the outfield Wojciechowski attacked the baseball with sure hands with an accurate arm up to 75 mph.
INF Brendan Scheel (Martin Luther, 2025) is a strong 6-foot-4, 242-pound infielder that took a loud round on Tuesday. Scheel has easy bat strength, recording the highest exit velocity of the day at 97.1 mph and the farthest batted ball at 361 feet. The loud round caught the eyes of our scouts and Scheel will be a name-to-watch moving forward into the summer circuit.
INF/RHP Nick Stellrecht (New Richmond, 2026) is a 6-foot-5, 215-pound right-hander with a strong, athletic build. At the plate, Stellrecht swings a powerful right-handed bat, recording some of the highest batted ball metrics of the day. Stellrecht averaged 87.2 mph throughout his round, peaking at 96.4 and also had the second farthest batted ball of the day at 356 feet. His bat metrics were equally impressive with an average bat speed of 75.6 and average hand speed of 23.4. On the mound, he works with a high leg tuck into a drop-and-drive delivery, staying on-line with home plate. He’s balanced as he moves downhill with his high-¾ slot. The fastball is 81-82 mph generated in part due to his quick arm speed, showing some sink when thrown down in the zone. His 71-75 curveball has smaller break, showing more like a vertical-breaking slider. Stellrecht also showed a changeup with heavy sink, coming from the same plane as the fastball at 77-79 mph. His frame should allow the incoming junior to continue to add strength and velocity as he matures.
RHP Paulson Yesbeck (Elkhorn, 2025) is a big-bodied righty who showed a live arm and above-average command. The arm action is short from the ¾ slot, but the ball still comes out with life. His fastball was 83-84 mph with some carry and run through the zone, but his best pitch was the curveball - a 69-70 mph breaker with heavy and late 12/6 break. He also showed a slider with similar movement to the curveball. Yesbeck was one of the more polished arms at the event, standing out for his command and breaking ball.
RHP Joshua Bonin (New Berlin Eisenhower, 2026) is a 5-foot-11 righty with room to add strength to his frame. The delivery looks effortless - a smooth transfer out of the glove into a medium leg lift with a slight drift toward the plate. Full arm action into a ¾ slot, his arm plays loose arm. The fastball was 82-84 mph, reaching 85 with backspin, a pitch that will play especially when thrown up in the zone. His curveball is more of a sweeper, showing above-average horizontal break at 71-72 mph. Bonin’s arsenal included a changeup that showed flashes of being a quality offering at 76-79 mph with arm-side run. The Eisenhower arm was one of the most projectable at the event, and should continue to improve as he adds strength to his frame.
RHP Ryan Buchta (Oak Creek, 2025) started in the state semifinals last week, a 6-foot-5 right-hander with long levers and room to grow. He uses a high leg-lift, landing slightly open towards first base. He uses a full arm swing into a high-¾ to over-the-top slot before unleashing his quality stuff. His fastball was 83-85 mph, reaching 86 with some arm-side run, finishing the pitch through the delivery, which led to carry through the zone. His curveball showed tight break at 71-73, mostly vertical break. The changeup also showed mostly vertical break but with a bit of arm-side run at 73-75 mph. Buchta’s cutter was 72-76 mph, also mostly vertical but with smaller, tighter break than the curveball. Buchta should improve as he grows into his big frame, honing his craft while adding velocity.
LHP Aiden Eckert (New Richmond, 2025) is a well-built lefty who throws from a deceptive low-¾ arm slot. He uses a medium leg lift from the windup and slide step from the stretch, landing slightly toward first base in the delivery, the arm action is short but live. His fastball paced all lefties at the event, reaching 84 mph with sink and run - he located the pitch consistently down and arm-side. His changeup is the better of of his two offspeed offerings, working 71-74 with mostly vertical break and a bit of arm-side run, the same plane as the fastball. His curveball has gradual 11/5 break from a slightly higher slot than the fastball, thrown at 64-66. Eckert has a unique profile with his low slot and above-average movement on his stuff.
RHP Mason Grafwallner (Greenfield, 2026) is a strong right-hander with the ability to move down the mound, finding consistency by working from the stretch only. It’s a medium leg lift into a high-¾ slot, and a fluid arm. The fastball was 81-83 mph with backspin and carry, featuring occasional cut. His mid-60s curveball had late 12/6 break, a quality pitch when thrown down in the zone. Grafwallner also showed a changeup with slight sinking action and arm-side run at 74-76.
