Nickname:
Vikings
Class:
2A
League:
Potomac Valley
Head Coach: Bobby J. Harman
2013 Overall Record: 22-9 (Lost in regional semifinals)

TOP PLAYERS:

Trevor Harman, 3B/RHP, Class of 2014 (Honorable Mention All-State 2012)
Alex See, 2B/RHP, Class of 2014 (Honorable Mention All-State 2013)
Ryan Colaw, 3B/RHP, Class of 2014 (2nd Team All-PVC 2013)
Brian George, LHP/OF, Class of 2015 (Penn State commit)
Brandon George, LHP/1B, Class of 2015 (2-Year Starter)

SEASON OUTLOOK:

The Vikings lost two seniors from last year's 22-9 squad to graduation and college baseball. Catcher Justin Smith (WVWC) and RHP Ryan Hendrick (Potomac State) are now applying their skills at the next level. Coach Bobby J. Harman is confident in the pitching depth that returns and the offense he feels he will get from the top 2/3 of the order. One area of concern is the lack of experience in the outfield. The Vikings should be in the mix in the PVC and will look to return to regional play come May.

Harman, See and Colaw will be looked to for their senior leadership. Harman and See have been in the starting lineup since their freshman seasons. Brian George was injured as a freshman, but returned as a sophomore to go 6-3. He announced his verbal commitment to Penn State this past fall.
