ACCORDING TO THE COACH:

"This year's Pikeview Panthers baseball team will have a pitching staff that will rank among the elite staffs in West Virginia High School baseball. We bring back the entire staff from the 2015 version of the panthers baseball team along with a transfer that many will get to know real quick. This is a veteran group that has been a part of the regional championship for three straight years and got their first taste of the state tournament last year. They have been preparing since the end of the season last year and are looking forward to this season. This region will be very competitive as always. The major strength of this team is the pitching staff but the offensive output is not far behind. I would say the weakness of this team is we still haven't been as aggressive on the bases as we need to be."
