ACCORDING TO THE COACH:

"This year's team will look to build on the success we had in 2015. We return six starters in our lineup and six of the nine pitchers we used from last year. Our offense again will be lead by 3-time 1st Team All-MSAC infielder, 2015 MSAC Player of the Year, and 1st Team AAA All-State selection Christopher Jordan (.495, 19 2B's, 5 3B's, 3 HR, 36 RBI) and 1st Team All-MSAC catcher and 2nd Team All-State selection Anthony Jarvis (.476, 15 2bs, 4 3bs, 53 RBI). Our pitching staff will be anchored by senior Logan McCoy (6-3, 1.89 ERA) and Cody Pittenger (7-1, 2.01 ERA). This team should have a lot of similarities to our 2015 team with the ability to hit for a high average, hit for power, be aggressive on the bases, and throw strikes. We will look to improve on our defense so we can get back in the dugout and swing the bat.

As always, our goals are to win the MSAC, win our Section, win our Region, and get to Power Park and compete for a title. Our schedule will again be very demanding so our guys will be ready when the post season arrives. We feel that we have the pieces of the puzzle to accomplish all of these goals as long as we can get that puzzle put together when the time is right."
