Team Name: George Washington Patriots
Head Coach: Mike Davis (18-11 career record)
Classification: AAA
2016 Record: 18-11
Conference Record: Mountain State Athletic Conference (8-2)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/4

2017 Team Strengths:

  • Young lineup gained valuable experience last year
  • Young, but talented starting pitching
  • Senior leadership

2017 Team Weaknesses:

  • Loss of Bowen will hurt in middle of lineup

Coach Outlook: "We are looking forward to continuing the continuity with the second year with this coaching staff and a roster that is still young."

PBR Outlook: The Patriots return 2/3 of their starting lineup and the bulk of their pitching staff. They will miss the contributions of RHP/OF Druw Bowen now playing football at West Virginia, but should be able to build on last year's 18 win total.
