Prep Baseball Report

Building the Database

By Greg Williams
WV Director of Scouting

Building an exhaustive database of the college baseball prospects in any state is a daunting task. With the inception of Prep Baseball Report in the state of West Virginia on May 1, that process is underway. To date we have added roughly 200 prospects to the database across the state and that number continues to grow daily. Many of these prospects will have their first opportunity to showcase their talents for PBR scouts and college coaches for the first time on July 16 at the West Virginia Open ID Showcase.

Players have the ability to send their information to PBR directly by filling out a short questionnaire. The information provides the PBR staff with the details necessary to create an initial player profile page on the website and adds the player to the growing list of prospects that college programs have an opportunity to take a look at through our multi-media platforms. Any player not currently in our database that has aspirations of playing at the next level may CLICK HERE to begin the process at no charge.
