No. 8 Seth kinker

Seth KinkerKinker finished his senior season ranked atop the WV Class of 2014 rankings and at No. 241 in the PBR combined rankings. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder, now playing at Ohio State, led Cabell Midland to the state AAA title game in 2013 and had a dominant senior season to earn his place at the top. Kinker went 9-2 with a 0.45 ERA with 111 strikeouts as a senior while also hitting .375 with five home runs.

Kinker had a dominant state tournament performance in 2013. He went 0-for-4 at the plate on Friday, but followed that up with a 4-for-4 day in the championship with a double, a run scored and an RBI. In the semifinal game he pitched a complete game, two-hitter with eight strikeouts. He sat 83-85 all evening and registered a strikeout on an 86 mph fastball to end the game. Kinker showed athletic actions at shortstop and the potential to be a two-way player at the next level.
