Mid-Atlantic ProCase

The PBR Mid-Atlantic ProCase is a kick off to identifying the top prospects in the 2019 draft class. Once the 2018 MLB draft takes place in early June scouts across the country turn their attention to the 2019 class. This event will feature the top 2019 draft prospects in Pennsylvania & surrounding states, as well as a select number of 2020 prospects.

The Super 60 Pro Showcase in February has been a staple of the Prep Baseball Report's pro coverage over the last 15 years. The PBR Mid-Atlantic ProCase will add to our pro coverage and give scouts the first look into the 2019 draft class. The Super 60 has become one of the more well attended pro showcases on the circuit, simply due to the caliber of players in attendance. We have seen more than 100 professional scouts year after year at the Super 60 and the ProCase will be no different, bringing all of the draft potential candidates from our area into one location to showcase their abilities in front of the professional scouting community. This will also give our staff insight into possible invites for the 2019 Super 60 Pro Showcase in February.

Scouting Report

5.31.18 - 5-foot-9, 160-pound lefty went the distance on this night in the WV State AAA semifinals. He sat 85-87 early touching 88 mph out of a high 3/4 arm slot with some armside run to his fastball. Curveball has slider shape at 75-77 and was devastating when he threw it back foot to right-handed hitters. Allowed one unearned run and was in command from start to finish. Final fastball of the evening registered 86 mph.
