The 2019 West Virginia High School Baseball season is in full swing. In our attempt to bring you coverage from all points of the state, today we start a series of articles highlighting players from all-over West Virginia.
Elias Gordon from Notre Dame Catholic High School has been impressive so far this season. On the mound, he's thrown 21 2/3 innings, has struck out 32, and only given up 5 earned runs for an ERA of 1.62. Opposing teams are only hitting .198 off the right-hander. At the plate, the senior is 16-for-33 (.485) with two-doubles, one-triple, and has driven in nine.
