A year removed from helping to lead the Jefferson Cougars to their 11th state title in program history, senior lefty Bradley Davis is a big reason that the Cougars (27-2) are poised to make a run at making it 12 titles.
Davis is currently 7-0 with a 0.95 ERA. The 6-foot, 185-pound Potomac State recruit is holding opposing hitters to a .154 batting average and has struck out 54 while walking just 11.
Ranked No. 9 in the WV Class of 2016, Davis heads a dominant Cougars pitching staff that has combined to hold opponents to a .175 batting average and have a miniscuel team ERA of 1.24. The lefty shined at the 2015 West Virginia Top Prospect Games in August.
