WV Director of Scouting
Christopher Jordan is a 5-foot-9, 150-pound SS/RHP that had an excellent rookie season at Ripley HS. He hit .394 as a freshman in 2013 with 14 doubles, 4 triples and 36 stolen bases. Jordan was named first team All-MSAC as an infielder for his efforts.
Jordan traveled to Morgantown for the annual pro showcase on Sunday and left an impression with his performance. Currently ranked No. 5 in the WV Class of 2016, Jordan showcased a 7.01 60-yard dash and athletic actions in the infield with throws of 78 mph across the diamond. The right-handed hitter barreled the baseball consistently and showed a short swing path with a strong lower half.
As he continues to develop and his frame fills out Jordan will be a prospect to continue to follow in this class.
