Entering year four of the event, what was formally known as the Prep Baseball Report Midwest Future Games will take on a new name. The addition of six new states to the PBR family (Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, New York and Virginia) will gives the event a more national flavor and has necessitated a slight change in the name. The premier event for prospects entering their junior year of high school will now be known as the Prep Baseball Report Future Games.

The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2016 prospects. Last year, more than 110 colleges from all over the country were in attendance. While West Virginia does not have its own team in the event, top prospects from the mountain state have the opportunity to participate for Team Pennsylvania.

Minnick's trip to Indiana University began with him turning heads with a top pop time of 1.79 during defensive evaluations. Minnick went on to showcase his power potential at the plate with a double against Team Ohio and a game winning two-run home run against Team Illinois. For good measure, he showed his athleticism by sitting 85-88 on the mound, while touching 90 mph. Minnick is currently ranked No. 1 in the WV Class of 2015.

The 2014 event will take place July 31 - August 2 at Grand Park in Westfield, IN. Although the Future Games is still five months away, the Team Pennsylvania roster is taking shape and once again a top prospect from West Virginia has been included.

RHP/OF Druw Bowen (Valley Fayette HS) will have the opportunity to represent West Virginia at this year's event. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound sophomore went 8-0 with a 2.15 ERA as a freshman last year and was named Class A All-State. Bowen, who is currently ranked No. 3 in the WV Class of 2016, will pitch and see some time in the outfield for Team Pennsylvania. The talented two-way prospect hit five home runs during Valley's run to the state semi-finals.
