Connor GoldenSS RHP Connor Golden, an uncommitted senior from Charleston Catholic HS, was included in a PBR Plus story this week (The Hotlist: Top Uncommitted Middle Infielders In 2014 Class). Golden is ranked No. 4 in West Virginia’s Class of 2014. He runs well, having stolen more than 50 bases in the past two high school seasons. He gets down the line at 4.28 from the left side. He has the arm strength to play shortstop, as he can sit 83-85 on the mound. He went 9-1 on the mound for the West Virginia Class A champs in 2013. Golden has been visiting schools in West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky in search of the right college fit.
