Boulanger is another uncommitted 2024 who showed well during game play. He possesses a 3-pitch mix which he can locate for strikes. The fastball sits 85-87 mph which profiles well at the top of the zone with a flat vertical approach angle (-4.9), inducing swing & miss and weak fly ball contact. The slider has late, sharp horizontal bite at 77-79 mph, and the changeup plays well off the fastball at 75-78 mph as it is out of a similar arm slot and fades as it nears the plate with a 19.4 inch HB and 6.7 inch IVB profile. Boulanger is one the better uncommitted 2024 arms in Alberta.
