Levi Abbott has made great strides this spring, he has had a significant velocity jump topping out at 88 mph this spring and sitting comfortably in the mid 80's. He uses a solid three pitch mix that includes a power curveball and a still developing change-up. His curveball is far and away his best off-speed pitch as it has sharp, late bite to it which keeps hitters off balance. He has a low effort delivery that has the ball jump out of his hand with natural cut. He is a very poised pitcher and is mature beyond his years. Abbott is one of the top prospects in the province for 2020 and will be a very intriguing follow.

Listed at 6-foot-2, 155 pounds, Abbott featured confidence and poise on the mound. All 3 of his pitches work well together. Fills up the lower portion of the zone with his fastball, which sits 79-82 mph. Changeup and curveball were consistently thrown for strikes and both had good action. Projectable frame, should gain velocity.
