The 2024 Webber Academy product stood out on both sides of the ball at the Fall Open. The 6-foot-1, 170Ibs RHP sat 79-80 mph with the fastball generating 2100+ rpm. Out of an over-the-top arm slot, Gukert generated plenty of depth and vertical break and the curveball when down in the zone, spinning it at 2200+ rpm at 68-69 mph. At the dish, he uses quiet hands and bat speed to reach a max exit velocity of 89.7 mph. Consistently elevated back up the middle throughout his entire round.
