A top 2025 infielder out of AHP Academy, Tetrault had an impressive showing on both sides of the ball. Using his athleticism and quick feet, he moved well laterally on the infield and has the ability to make those off-balance throws with his arm utility, while also reaching an 88 mph infield velocity. In the box, he showed a smooth swing from the left side, presenting a high level of barrel control and quick hands culminating in good bat-to-ball skills. He consistently elevated back up the middle and reached a max exit velocity of 90 mph. Tetrault will be a strong follow as he continues to make an impact on both sides of the ball.
2/14/24
Tetrault is widely known as one of the better defensive infields in his class. The uncommitted 2025 has athleticism that is apparent wherever he steps on the field. On the infield, he moves well laterally with a quick first step and the ability to get into a throwing position efficiently. In the box there’s plenty to like. The bat has twitch coming from an athletic and balanced swing. There's lots of pull-side power, having put out a couple balls at AHP’s scout day in the fall, but predominantly works on a line to all fields with present bat-to-ball ability. The next step for Tetreault will be to do damage in the box against some of the top arms in the province to prove that he can be impactful on both sides of the ball.
