Uncommitted. Austin Hubbard was the highlight of Deshler’s big first game in day 2 LP Spring Break 2026. He was given the ball to start and batted in the cleanup spot. On the hill, he showed a 3 pitch mix of FB, CH, and SL, relying mostly on FB and CH. The FB had good CMD as he got a couple Ks and plenty of weak contact against it (81-84). His CH had great deception as it came out the hand the same but killed the spin and velo to keep hitters guessing. His SL was thrown a handful of times to give batters another look (73-74). In the box he was able to provide himself with plenty of run support as his first AB ended in an RBI SF8. His next appearance was the loudest AB of the game, 104EV HR for 396’ as he got every stitch of the middle-middle FB. He had another chance to bat, again finding a barrel for the 1B through the 6 hole. Hubbard has an athletic look at 5-foot-10 with still some room to mature.
