Started in a tall athletic stance with a quick load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was above average, displayed a simple flat swing plane and a front foot finish. Up the middle approach. From the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 83 mph; had a developing exchange, and fluid footwork. Used a high ¾ slot with a short arm action while showing decent accuracy to the bag. On the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher. Showed a consistent balance point. Has an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-78 mph with a max of 79 mph; has glove side control and late cutting action. (Max spin 2036; Avg 1943). His 11/5 curveball (59-60) has late action and in the zone control. His changeup (67-68) has late fading action and arm side control.

5-foot-10, 150-pound solid frame. During batting practice, Roberts clocked an exit velocity of 81 mph. Started in a balanced stance then used a toe tap. Bat speed was quick. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 80 mph; showed average footwork. Showed some accuracy. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.97. On the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 74-76 mph with a max of 76 mph; has decent control and running action. Has a 11/5 curveball (68-69) that shows tight action and around the zone control. His changeup (65-66) showed fading action. Will be on Team Alabama at the PBR Junior Future Games
