Athletic uncommitted ‘20 prospect that showed solid footwork at 3B and is athletic enough to also play in the dirt in the middle of the field. Solid glove presentation and showed a quick transfer to the throw. At the plate, he showed a solid line drive approach and made it look easy. Showed nice separation in the swing which allowed him to get to a nice powered launch position in the swing. Fairly wide stance with the feet even and a toe tap timing mechanism. The hands showed some quick twitch and the barrel was in the zone for a long time. Versatile uncommitted ‘20 grad with some skills.
The swing is there and the bat plays with a loud barrel. Showed very nice rhythm with the hands and the lower half of the body was synched nicely with the top half. Showed an even stance and a toe tap approach to generate plenty of juice in the swing. The hands and barrel stayed short to the hitting zone. Showed a line drive approach to all fields. Defensively, he moves very well and showed the ability to throw from different arm angles and did a nice job working through his throws. Made a nice backhand play and a nice play on a slow roller in front of him during the game.
1.20.19- Solid defender on the infield with plus feet. Low to the ground offender with a quick transfer. Nice defensive actions. Has a nice balanced swing from a narrow stance and a solid set up. Showed a flat barrel path with some pop in the swing. Does a nice job with the hands in getting to the launch position before the swing
