OF Joseph Sullivan (No. 41, South Alabama) impressed in his first look in front of our PBR scouts. Hitting from the leadoff spot for the Rebels, Sullivan recorded multiple hits and had his way on the base paths. It seems as when Sullivan goes, the rest of the Vestavia offense follows. He’s a catalyst at the top of the lineup and has gotten off to a good start to his senior season. In his first at-bat, Sullivan singled on a ground ball in the infield that he beat out to start the game off for the Rebels. He quickly advanced to 2nd base, then came around to score a few batters later. He continued to show how well he uses his strengths to his advantage in his second at-bat, when he hit a sharply-hit single through the right side to bring home a runner from second. Sullivan seems to have this confident mindset at the plate and is a leader on this talented Rebel team.
