Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 6-1, 189-pounds. Strength throughout. Strong, durable frame.
Hit: RHH. Open setup with the feet, small leg kick. Uphill path with the barrel, pull side approach with some carry and backspin. 68.9 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 77.5 mph. 352' max distance.
Arm: LH. OF-79 mph. Longer arm action from the 3/4 arm slot, accurate throws to the plate.
Defense: Impressive footwork with a smooth dilevry to the plate.
ATH: 7.15 runner in the 60. 27.50 max vertical.
Switch hitting OF that showed some barrel control from both sides of the plate. Really did a nice job with the backside and forced the barrel through the zone. Solid swing with a slightly open stance and has more pop than what one may think. Will only add juice as he matures physically. In the OF, he did a very good job of resetting his feet and getting momentum moving with his throw and really worked on fielding everything to the glove side. On the mound, his velocity will only get better over the years but he showed clean mechanics and was able to command the FB down in the zone with some very late ASR. The breaking ball showed some late bite as well.
