6-foot-2, 150-pound lean frame. During batting practice, Reid clocked an exit velocity of 80 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride to start his swing. Simple swing plane. Had some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Line drive approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 82 mph. Had consistent accuracy. Clocked a 60 time of 7.68 at the event. Fluid on the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 80-82 mph with a max of 83 mph. Curveball (70-71 mph), changeup (75-76 mph).

Young ‘22 prospect that showed a nice clean arm on the mound from a high ¾ slot and stayed tall throughout the delivery. The FB showed some nice ASR at 77-78 mph, topping at 79 mph. The tall, lean RHP pounded the zone with the FB and will be an interesting follow on the mound. Really projectable in the field and at the plate and projects as a nice player. Tall set up at the plate with some quickness in the hands. Starts with an even stance and has slight tilt in his bat path. Really handled the bat very well and will add some juice as he continues to add strength and physically matures over the next few years. The actions in the dirt are fundamentally solid. Really works through the ball and shows solid footwork before and after the catch. Stays through his throws very well. Interesting ‘22 to follow.
