Carter is 5-foot-11 185-pound right-hander, with a medium frame and an athletic build. He works from a high ¾ arm slot with a quick arm. The action is not exactly clean as he tends to reach in the back of his arm circle. His secondary stuff is adequate as he throws his curveball with 11/5 shape and gradual break with depth. The curveball is thrown 66-68 mph. He throws a change up, but did not locate it. His changeup was 73-76 mph. Carter’s fastball works 85-88 mph with arm side run. He commanded the strike zone on both sides of the plate with his fastball.
