2023 RHP/1B Brayden Tambone (Perry)- 6-foot-1, 170-pounds, large frame, long legs, average body with projectable strength. Worked out as a two-way player. Right-handed hitter, sets up in a sturdy base with open stance, some stiffness in the setup. Uses a leg kick trigger to land mostly square, can stride in towards the plate at times. Hands work back as front foot comes down, showing some sequencing. Short swing, gets on plane moderately early with some quickness in the hands. Middle of the field approach, had some trouble transferring energy into the ball on the day, clipping the bottom half at 80.73mph exit velocity via trackman. Showed some athleticism around the bag with confident actions, above average feel for the position. Short quick arm across the diamond with fluid double play turns, 78mph velocity. Also worked out on the mound. Commanded the strike zone in his appearance, working out of the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, exploding off the rubber early with a long stride stride. Threw from a H3/4 arm slot with short arm action, displaying some arm speed, above average extension on his FB. More in the tank as he incorporates his lower half more. FB sat 80-82, topping out at 82.47mph via Trackman. FB showed cut action with some heaviness at 2188rpm. CV showed above average potential when he got extended with some depth & 11/5 shape at 2120rpm. He threw two straight CH with low spin in the outing at 72-74mph.

Positional Profile: 1B/RHP Above average feel for the mound.
Body: 6-1, 170-pounds. Large frame, long torso, average build with some strength.
Defense: Fields the ball with confident first step & clean footwork. Quick feet, flat-footed at times. Fields ball out front with soft hands.
Arm: Right-Handed. INF - 78 mph. Above average arm with accuracy. Clean transfers with average release.
Hit: RHH. Starts in a relaxed base with feet shoulder width apart. Uses a leg lift with a quick load. Got on plane with quick hands & above average bat speed
Power: 91 mph exit velocity from the tee. Mid/pull approach with some hard contact. Opens up at times.
Run: 7.85 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Worked out of the stretch. Tall athletic delivery, showing a simple process with repeatability. Lands square in athletic balanced finish. Above average hip/shoulder separation.
Arm Action: Right-Handed. Threw with higher effort from a higher arm slot. Short arm action with some quickness.
FB: T80, 78-80 mph. Slight armside fade.
SL: 67-68 mph. Early shape.
CH: 72-75 mph. Worked the armside.
