Strong and stocky build. Proportionate size throughout body. Defense: Range is limited; however, feet are active. Glove work is consistent, and would improve with more athleticism. Arm: R. Square to the pitcher with hands held shoulder height pushed away from his body. Bat held vertically. Uses no stride, also a small toe tap. Small weight transfer to the backside and holds his ground. Slight uphill path, coming over the top of some balls to the pullside. Power: Has some leverage, impacts the ball well deep to the left center gap with some loft. Run: 7.55 runner in the 60.
10/29/17 – Boxy 6-foot-2, 238-pound frame. Showed very well at the event with some of the best raw power and surprising athleticism on defense for his size.
