Prep Baseball All-American Game: A true two-way talent but the highest upside remains on the mound. High-level projection in a lean, high-waisted 6-foot-2 frame. An athletic, fast mover down the mound, who works primarily out of the stretch, Caminiti utilizes a high leg lift that creates easy extension and traditional three-quarters slot that is easy to repeat. Fastball is explosive through the zone at 92-96 with arm-side life. Will jump on hitters for swing-and-miss and continues to be some of the easiest velocity in the class. Advanced feel for two distinct breaking balls with 71-74 curveball with loopy shape and 78-80 slider that can create sweep across the zone. Both lack true feel to spin but maintain shape and present command…At the plate, Caminiti creates good hip to shoulder separation with loose hands and present bat speed. Shows ability to impact the ball pull-side but works primarily gap-to-gap. A good feel for the zone and barrel should keep the bat in his hands for awhile.

Caminiti, an LSU recruit, might have the highest upside of any player from the event, and showcased powerful stuff on the mound with a smooth stroke at the plate. Already an imposing 6-foot-2, 195-pounds, the frame still shows some signs of future growth which is scary to consider given the present outputs. Working 91-93 with the fastball against an elite Brewers lineup, he struck out the side in the first inning showcasing feel for both a shorter slider (80-81) and curveball with depth (74 mph) as well as flashing a changeup (82 mph).

Though he gave up runs in the second, the fierce competitor showed maturity in his third frame, which should only help in future advancements and growth. The upside on the mound is undeniable with a chance to be special, but he also showcased nearly equal upside at the plate where the same power shows up from the left side with barrel accuracy and a chance to hit at a high level.

Came in relief for the Scottsdale Dirtbags. Instantly impressed when learning this 2025 graduate was playing up in the 2023 tournament. Should be a follow for years to come. By watching him compete on the mound you wouldnt think he was 5'6" 125lbs. Young frame with a loose and athletic arm but also had strength. Low effort delivery. Pitch ability is advanced for age. Firm deceptive FB from his frame at 73-75mph. CV gave hitters trouble and was advanced even playing up. He also hit in the order and battled at the plate.
