David is a competitive left-handed pitcher with a projectable 6-foot frame. During a playoff appearance against Desert Vista, he pitched 4.1 innings and recorded four strikeouts. He features a four-pitch arsenal delivered from a high three-quarter arm slot with good direction and shoulder tilt. His fastball ranges from 85-86 mph, topping out at 87. He throws a changeup between 78-81 mph and two breaking balls: a slider (75-78 mph) that targets the back foot of right-handed hitters and a slower, 12-6 curveball (72-75 mph) which worked well when it hit the back of the plate. David demonstrates an aggressive approach to hitters and exhibits potential for pitch sequencing, particularly off his fastball. With increased strength and improved command of his secondary pitches, he has the potential to develop into a dependable pitcher at the collegiate level.

Solid frame with room for added mass at 5’11”, 165. Tall start to the delivery, and drives down the slope with the back leg effectively. Sees significant shoulder tilt as the leg drives down the mound. Uses an over-the-top arm slot and throws three pitches, (curveball, changeup). Gets solid spin on the fastball, grades out especially well in Bauer Units. Mechanics seem repeatable in the slide-step and on all off speeds.
