has more tools and athleticism than Caraway, he just needs to improve his approach and reduce his swing and miss. He got to his enormous right-handed power potential with a 438-foot home run against Michigan on Saturday.

Cape Cod: Strong, super athletic and loaded with tools. A plus runner with very good body control, Turley sets up with a slightly open stance and spins off at the plate. His feel to hit was limited and he struggled at the plate with a .222 batting average and 30 strikeouts in 72 at-bats. Both his batting average on balls in play (.382) and strikeout rate (31%) in the Cape were in-line with his spring numbers of .421 and 32%.

Turley, an Oregon State recruit, fills the stat sheet with elite metrics thanks to impressive athleticism that provides for plenty of twitch loud tools. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound outfielder has electric hands with astounding bat speed, and the ball jumps off the barrel with intriguing power potential. A 6.58-runner, Turley has five-tool potential, and should get a plethora of looks from MLB scouts in the spring with so many in close proximity to his Hamilton High School in Arizona.

+ 2022 OF Gavin Turley (Hamilton)- Oregon State commit, Turley made a move to AZ from Utah before the school year started. We are excited to get to know him a little bit more come spring. In a small glance this fall, Turley's athleticism should fit right in towards the top of the talented Hamilton lineup. He uses a simple approach at the plate with excellent feel for the barrel. His hands and bat speed stand are advanced with every AB being a battle regardless of the outcome. There is also some more power upside present as he continues to get stronger in his athletic projectable frame. Defensively, he has good speed & body awareness combined with an easy arm. Turley should be a strong addition to one of the states top high school programs.
