Positional Profile: OF/1B Good follow in 2024 class. Good build with clean actions and good swing mechanics.
Body: 6-1, 165-pounds. Good frame with room to add physicality/maturity.
Hit: RHH. Wide stance with slightly open base and small bend in the knees. Bat is held at back shoulder with small bat waggle. Small up and down stride that gets him back to a square position. Swing stays on plane and has a flat attack angle. Ability to get inside the ball on the inner half. Uses the middle well.
Power: 90.7 max exit velocity, averaged 82 mph. 321’ max distance. Top down hitter. Low rate of fly balls. Line drive contact creates back spin flight. Ability to use all fields.
Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. OF - 78 mph. Throws from a high 3/4 slot. Ball has 4 seam carry. Throws were on line. Room for improvement to arm strength but arm action and mechanics are clean.
Defense: Glove work was clean in the outfield. Gets ride of the ball with consistent timing, room for improvement with release timing. Body positioning and rhythm in INF is good. Glove work has room for improvement.
