Positional Profile: SS/2B High upside. Actions are clean on both sides of the ball and has a smooth LH stroke. Added strength and reps can make him a high follow.
Body: 5-11, 130-pounds. Athletic build with room for added maturity.
Hit: LHH. Athletic in stance. Stands upright with athletic bend in the knees. Good posture with base just outside of shoulder width and hands held low at the chest. Uses a knee to knee stride that is slow and controlled. Has a clean path to the baseball, leads with the knob. Loose swing, tends to come around the ball at times. When he learns to stay consistent to the middle, this could be a high follow.
Power: 83 max exit velocity, averaged 74.3 mph. 312’ max distance. Stays to the top half, majority ground ball contact. Fits his profile for now. With added strength he will be a gap to gap hitter.
Arm: RH. INF - 72 mph. Throws from a high 3/4 slot. Easy arm action, ball has 4 seam flight. Ability to throw from different slots and on the move.
Defense: Fielded short hops and showed glove skills on tougher hops. Middle of the diamond infielder, 2B for now, projected SS with added strength.
Run: 7.66 runner in the 60. Technique is clean, anticipate higher 60 times with maturity.
