Our staff got an updated look at 2026 right-hander Carter Rettie, who continues to trend upward every time we see him. A product of the Coquitlam Reds program, Rettie stands at a burly 6-foot-4, 185-pounds as he worked downhill with his two-pitch mix at FGT. Working exclusively out of the stretch, he has the look of an arm that's got way more in the tank. Rettie moves easily and has a clean arm action, living 80-82 mph, topping out at 83.2 mph will mixing in a tight slider at 77-79 mph (2000+). With his size and some time on his side, it wouldn't surprise us to see Rettie make a jump in velocity of the next year as he adds some size and strength. Strong showing from Rettie.
