Lumsdon is one of the top uncommitted 2024s in the country. Recently named to the Canadian Junior National Team, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound RHP works both sides of the plate with his fastball that he has run up to 90 mph. He has shown the ability to locate the slider and changeup for strikes, as well as generate OZ chase with them. The arm is loose out of a high ¾ slot with an easy, repeatable delivery. Lumsdon will be a name to follow this summer as he shouldn't be uncommitted for long.
RHP Kyu Lumsdon was intriguing uncommitted 2024 who took the mound Sunday for the Blaze. The fastball velocity was just 81-84 but he did a good job of mixing his offspeed to work his way effectively through the Cubs lineup. 6-foot-2, 175-pound right-hander who works with an effortless delivery from an over the top slot. Curveball was 65-66 while the changeup was 75. An arm to keep tabs on in the West Coast summer as he continues to develop.
