This was our second extended look at Kirkpatrick this year and his right-handed bat has shown up from start to finish, both times. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound shortstop has been consistently driving the ball for extra-bases against high-level competition. While it’s not flashy, he makes the plays on the left side of the diamond. Kirkpatrick is set to join St. Marys this fall and early on in 2022, his bat has shown it’s ready for the Division I level.
2022 Nathan Kirkpatrick (Saint Mary’s commit) has been another bat to really jump out this week. 5-foot-11, 178-pound middle infielder who’s had several multi-hit performances. The Langley Blaze product had two hits on Monday and another three on Tuesday. He’s a pure hitter from the right-side who’s shown the ability to lift for some power as well.
One of the slickest gloves on the west coast, Nathan has shown consistent improvements across all attributes this past off-season; speed, physicality, hitting, and strength. Always has been one of the hardest working players and we can expect big things from him this season!
