A scrappy player by trade, St. Jacques' defense is his carrying tool. At 5-foot-6, 145-pounds, he moves very well around the diamond, setting his feet up properly upon approaching a ground ball. He's confident on defense. Offensively, his lack of strength shows as he got beat on a few occasions, but his swing is sound, he just needs to refine his timing and add some weight.
