We got an updated look at 2026 graduate Justice Dahling out of the Mid-Island Pirates program. Standing 6-foot, 165-pounds, he's taken strides since we saw him at the Lower Mainland Fall Open ID. At the plate he starts from an upright, open stance, keeping his hands level with his ears. His backside gets a bit stuck through his swing, but he does a good job of elevating when he gets his hands extended. He reached a peak exit velocity of 81.8 mph and max carry distance of 285 feet. On the mound he's shown good progress, jumping a few ticks with his fastball, living 72-75 mph. Dahling also mixed in a curveball/slider combo in the low-to-mid 60s, capping off his repertoire with 65 mph changeup. With time on his side, Dahling has gotten better, and will continue to do so as he gets bigger and stronger.
