6-foot, 175 pound, athletic frame. Very solid player/athlete on the field. Very strong arm, straight trajectory, good carry across the diamond on balls right at him, and displays the same arm strength throwing from deep in the hole. Tends to overthrow on occasion which affects his accuracy. He airmailed a few during pregame infield and once during the game. Has great footwork and foot speed, takes great angles toward ground balls and has a quick glove to hand transfer. Has good range on balls to his left and right. Soft and quick hands while turning a double play. Looks smooth in his movements. Great vertical displayed on a line drive above his head that he snagged with ease. Swings the bat very well. Showed signs of hitting for power on an opposite field ground rule double. Displays patience at the plate and a good eye for the strike zone. Identifies off speed pitches well, keeps hands back and didn't get fooled too often. Has the ability to turn on inside pitches very well, keeps his hands tight to his body and has explosive hip torque. He ran 4.3sec home to first. Hustles hard on and off the field.
