2-26-17
6-foot-2, 200 pounds. Bats left throws right. Shows some big time power as a left handed hitting catcher. Ball exploded off bat in live round. Tall narrow stance, down and up load.  Uses leg kick for timing, uphill swing, very good extension through the baseball. Strong and athletic looking. 98 mph exit velo off the tee. Behind the dish frames and blocks well. Comes from over the top arm slot on throw downs and has slight tilt to get arm through. Pop time was 2.0-2.05 but could be quicker if he didn't tilt. Arm velocity was 74 mph. Ran a 4.28 home to first.

11.3.15
A 6-foot-0, 170-pound, left hand-hitting catcher who ran a 7.29.  At the plate he starts with an open narrow stance.  He has a long stride on delivery and stays loaded on his back leg.  A slight upward swing path produced a ball with good carry to the gaps.  He had an 85 MPH exit velocity at this event.  Behind the plate he has a quiet lower half and soft hands while receiving the pitch.  He does a nice job of framing pitches on both corners.  His arm velocity was 74 MPH with accuracy and had pop-times from 2.00-2.05.

8-2-15
6-foot-0, 170-pound left handed hitting catcher. Showed a tall balanced slightly open stance with a short load. Keeps hands inside ball well and showed some good pop the other way. A short compact swing still allows for good extension through the ball with a high finish. Exit velocity was 81 mph off the tee, up from 79 last January. Pop-time was 2.09 from the pitcher in between innings. Threw 70 mph from behind the plate and are accurate to the bag.  Frames well, looks polished behind the plate. Ran a 7.65 60.

1-25-15
6-foot-0, 160-pound left handed hitting catcher, hits from a balanced stance with a short load. Shows gap to gap power with no stride with slight toe tap. A short compact swing still allows for good extension through the ball with a high finish. Exit velocity was 79 mph off the tee. Behind the dish, quick feet help to keep pop times down, avg. 2.2 at this event. Showed good skills framing the ball with minimal movement.  Throws are accurate and on the bag, arm strength will continue improve as he fills out his frame. Also was real vocal throwing to bases. Ran a 4.60 home to first.
