During hitting evaluations, simple load, in line stride, minimal head movement, flat bat path, gap-to-gap approach during round. In the outfield, English attacks the baseball, shows clean transfers, high three-quarter release, positional velo of 78 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound he stand tall with a slight drop and drive delivery. Arm hides behind his body and he delivers form a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball was 77-79 mph with late run. He also featured a 65-67 mph curve with tight spin and late 2-7 break. Maintains good arm speed on his off-speed pitches.
