Chatfield’s 2021 shortstop Matt Lighthall (South Mountain CC) stole the show from three great pitching performances. Lighthall hit his 2nd HR of the day on the 1st pitch in the bottom of the 7th inning in a 3-3 game for the walkoff HR. Both home runs for Lighthall were “no noubters” pulled to right field at Chatfield. Lighthall was impressive as a left-handed hitter and up the middle. Great range and arm demonstrates tons of potential. Lean frame will play well with added strength.
