Athletic right hander with a 6-foot-3, 185 pound body frame, headed to Washington State on scholarship this fall. Throws with a clean arm action coming from an upper ¾ arm slot, close to being more over the top, with above average arm-speed. Fastball had decent movement into right handed batters and consistently sat at 88-89 mph throughout his seven innings of work and topping out at 92mph on multiple occasions. Throws a 12-6 curveball that showed a nice break clocking in at 74-75mph, but did leave it hanging on a few batters that resulted in hits. Used his change-up effectively, at 81-82 mph, displaying good deception. He had solid command and spotting with his full arsenal of pitches. Also showed excellent foot speed on a few picks to first base. Pitched an outstanding complete game shutout today, including 13 punch outs. Definitely a player to watch.
