Committed to Cisco JC. 6-foot-6, 190 pounds. Having a good start to the season. Has grown into body, and now flashes a fastball that reaches 88-89 mph, eventually settling in at 86. Delivery is smooth, inline, and square to the plate with a loose arm to go with it. Good extension towards plate. Curve is gradual but thrown for strikes with an 11/5 shape. Shows composure on mound. Was up 1-0 in bottom second but would give up a 3-run homerun. That would be the only hit given up in 6 IP which included 6 strikeouts. On the season Strawbridge is 1-0 with a 2.67 ERA. In 13 innings pitched he has only given up 5 hits, and struck out 18.
6-foot-4, 175 pounds. Bats and throws right. Very projectable player, and when he adds 20 pounds he can be special. Pitched primarily out of the stretch. Good pace on the mound. Comes from high 3/4 arm slot with slight tilt in spine. Stays straight and it's a nasty 3/4 arm slot. Arm is quick through the windup and works well with lower half. Fastball sat 78-79 mph, but there will be more there at some point. Would like to see some more variance in change. Came in at 75 mph. Curve sat at 68 with 11/5 shape.
6-foot-4, 175-pound right hand hitter who ran a 4.63 home to first. At the plate he hits from a tall balanced stance. A small stride and hand load get his weight moving forward with good hip rotation. He registered an 82 MPH exit velocity. In the field he showed good mechanics and accuracy with his arm. He had an 80 MPH arm velocity. On the mound he has a high leg kick and hides the ball out of his glove. He lands in-line with the plate and throws from a high ¾ arm slot. He falls off to the side on his finish. He registered a 78 MPH fastball that lived down in the zone and also featured a 65 MPH curve and a 66 MPH change.
