5-foot-10 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Hits from a balance stance, with minimal load with a short path that generates line drives with carry. Slash type hitter. Keeps hands inside of the ball. Dives a little over the plate. Hard working catcher. In Colorado Top Prospect games he caught with confidence, and made an awesome diving play on pop-up foul by plate.   Behind the plate, Tyler reeled off pop times between 2.10-2.16 and threw 74 mph. Ran a 7.70 60.

5-foot-10, 180-pound hard working catcher with soft hands and little movement behind the plate when accepting pitches.  Carrasco has shown steady growth at each showcase event and recorded pop times on Sunday of 2.05/2.10.  He moves very well to block pitches and on bunts in front of the plate.  At the plate he hits from a balanced stance, with minimal load with a short path that generates line drives with carry. Slash type hitter. Keeps hands inside of the ball and hits the ball very well to the opposite field.
