10.28.17

5-foot-7, 145-pound, small thin athletic frame. The fast twitch athlete, hands and wrists have quickness and strength to them. The top tool is his overall speed, ran the sixty-yard dash in 6.85. A left-handed hitter, the stance is even at shoulder width, hands are loose, showed gap power. The approach is more to the middle to pull side of the field, at times cuts across the baseball, could stay through it a tick longer. Took two solid rounds of batting practice peppering the baseball to the pull side. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 78 mph. Defensively, showed very well from the outfield, arm was clocked at 74 mph, shows to have average strength, arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, baseball has carry to it. The feet are well above average, gains ground on transfer and showed the ability to really go get the baseball in the gap. Look for his game to continue to rise has he gets stronger, potential to hit at the top of the order at eh next level.

5-foot-7, 143-pound, smaller, thin athletic frame, shoulders are squared off has plenty of room to fill out. Top tool are his legs, got down the line at 4.31, has a good athletic kick. A left-handed hitting outfielder, has a simple balanced stance, feet are even, hands are loose and quiet at shoulder height. The swing is flat through the zone with whip out front on contact, flicks the wrists which the ball jumps off rather quick. The barrel gets out front, tee exit velocity was clocked at 77 mph with more in there. The approach is more line drive, looks to shoot it back up the middle and to the pull side. Defensively, throws from the left side, has real good flow into the baseball, transfer is clean and easy, steps through hard and gains ground. The path has average length to it, clocked at 73 mph, showed good carry to throws to third base. All throws were downhill and on target. Good follow, shows the ability to handle the bat, good outfield defender.
