10.7.18

6-foot-2, 210-pound, larger, wide athletic frame. The shoulders are squared off, room for added strength. A right-handed pitcher, pounds the zone with three pitches, all working out of the same ¾ slot. The delivery is simple works out of the stretch, hands start and stay high, front glove is inline, is strong with minimal pull. The stride has length and is inline to the plate. The arm action is clean on the backside, gets good extension out front on release of the baseball. The fastball touched 78 mph, up a of couple ticks from the last event. Pounds the fastball to both sides, arm side has run, with cut to the glove side. The change up is a plus pitch, clocked at 69-71 mph, creating swings and misses. The breaking ball has more slurve break, thrown with some velocity, clocked at 70-71 mph. Look for him to take a jump at some point, competes at a high level, works hard at his craft, will be a good one.

8.23.18

6-foot-2, 210-pound, big, large, athletic frame. Durable pitchers body with a strong lower half. A right-handed pitcher, works from the set position, pounds the zone with three pitches. The delivery is simple, smooth athletic leg raise, loses some leverage at the separation, the direction is inline with minimal pull to glove side. The arm action is clean and quick on the back side, works out of a natural ¾ to lower slot. The fastball was located to both sides of the plate, creating sink and run action to arm side, with bolting the 4-seamer to outer half. Fastball was clocked at 76 mph with more in there as he gains strength The changeup is his top pitch, proper fade and shape to it, works off the fastball extremely well, clocked at 70 mph. The breaking ball has the correct spin, its late with depth and tilt to it. Worked quick, times to the plate were at 1.06, knows his way around the mound. Good prospect look for the velocity to climb, strength is a must will aid in his development.
