is a projectable 6-foot-3, 193-pound right-handed pitching prospect. On the mound, Alexander uses a long, high ¾ arm slot to produce a fastball that sits 77-80 MPH (Max spin 1990; Avg 1746) with some late arm side run. The delivery is simple. The tempo is easy, he gets to a good position at the top, before heading down the mound in line with home plate. He lands square with a clean finish. Alexander also featured a 12/6 curveball (64-65 MPH) (Max spin 1834; Avg 1743) and a fading changeup (73-74 MPH.
6-foot-1, 160-pound, long, lean athletic frame, wiry strength. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped, showing plenty of room for added weight gains. A right-handed pitcher, working from of a hybrid start, delivery is quick, building momentum down the mound, the lift is athletic. The arm action is clean on the back side, small cup on the bottom of the path, working through a 3/4 to lower 3/4 slot. The stride is inline, shorter, stays behind the ball, works downhill The fastball was clocked at 72 mph, with arm side sink and run to it. Showed a very good change up at 60-63 mph, proper arm speed, shape an spin to it. The breaking ball, had more slurvey break to it, clocked at 55-60 mph, will need to add more fastball hand speed. A clean, whippy arm, look for a velocity jump at some point.
