Above average during batting practice, the right-handed hitter displayed an exit velocity of 92 mph, Ranks #1 with EV at the event. (69.2 mph bat speed average). (22.5 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic tall stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a short stride. Has a short flat swing plane, electric bat speed and good extension on his finish. Produced tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Smooth advanced in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 81 mph; had soft hands, athletic footwork, and a twitchy exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a long loose arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.78. Electric at times.
